Well, excuse me!! No, Thanks for trying, you did say that you didn't know! I'll leave it for the others who haven't noticed this yet, but you could always ask me one, there are a hundred pages of Stargate quiz where everyone asks Skydiver a question, and she gets it right, so ignorance is not an excuse here!

i'm no expert on tos... but I'll put out some questions to do my part in helping this quiz thread along... 1) Which of 'Mudd's Women' falls in love with Kirk? 2) What is the first episode in which McCoy appears? 3) In a classic TOS episode, Kirk, Spock, Scotty, Chekov, and McCoy find themselves transported to a simulation of Tombstone, Arizona (the shootout at the OK Corral). Which alien species is responsible? Which "role" is Kirk forced to play? little star :star:

answers? Thanks, Littlestar. 1) You may have beaten me. Was it Eve McHuron? Post the answer in my 'How many women has Kirk been involved with thread?' as it isn't there yet. http://www.ascifi.com/forums/showthr...2858#post82858 2) There is a problem here with which order you put the episodes, the first pilot was never shown on TV in the '60's, and the second pilot is ususally shown as episode 3. McCoy was not in either of those, but he was a central character to the 'Man Trap' which is usually shown as episode 1. He is also in 'Charlie X' which is usually shown as episode 2. I expect that you want me to give 'The Man Trap' as the answer. 3) 'Spectre of the Gun'. The aliens were Melkotians. Kirk is Ike Clanton.

George Samuel Kirk, but Jim Kirk always called him Sam. Another one? This is probably harder but here goes, you need to watch Star Trek: Generations for the answer. Kirk kept a horse at a mountain cabin that he owned during his first retirement. Another companion at his mountain cabin was his Great Dane, What was the dogs name? It wasn't Scooby Doo either. | |

Hi Dave! Your answers were correct! Sorry about question #2-----maybe it wasn't a great question for a quiz thread. There can be a little confusion as to the correct answer because the episodes were not shown in the order in which they were produced. (There may also be some difference as to the order shown on tv in the US vs. UK in the 60's.) Anyway, I was thinking of "The Man Trap" (the answer you gave) but if we were going by production #'s, it would be "The Corbomite Maneuever", so that could also be correct. Sorry, can't think of the name of Kirk's dog at this moment----(I really would have to rewatch 'Generations" to get that one!) little star :star:
