In "And the Children Shall Lead" what do the children 'do' when they make the Enterprise crew do and see things?

They sing when they want the 'friendly angel' to appear but they make an action to force the crew to do things.

Maybe it's too hard, but i had just seen it on E4.

It was called "And the children shall lead" -- I had just watched the episode again when I asked the question, but it was weeks ago now.

They sort of shake their upper arms at people and things two times, and then their wishes take effect. They sing a song about a friendly angel and this Gorgon entity appears. He is the one making it all happen.

Yes, that's the one.

Maybe you are thinking of 'Charlie X', he has 'Q-like' powers and he sort of stares at people, and he makes someones face disappear?
