a knight does need be proficient in all forms of martial contest but a sword is a knight's privilege: outside of melee's have any of the king's guard gone into battle wielding other than a sword? certainly not proof it wasn't Lorus but more than a damnsite curious...
and just to play devils' advocate, who knows if Dragonstone was even taken? 1 little fib gets the fleet gets the entire fleet sent away... |
