It always surprises me how far Lovecraft's influence has reached, I have just read a Conan graphic novel (vol 4 - the hall of the dead) and it seemed (to me anyway) that there was a bunch of Lovecraft inspired langauge used by the frogs. Words like 'Nugoth' 'Athum' and phrases like 'Goth Et emm Raa' or 'Nugoth emm ett' not too far from HP's alien languages. |
