Re: Grab That Broom, Wincewind! I Command You! I played the first for a while - quite entertaining - but some of the tasks you had to discover for yourself were absolutely bizarre. For example, givnig prunes to a certain charatcer made them go to the toilet - and lo! - an octopus you required for a different task jumped out. But how does anybody make the connection of prunes to octopus...? Well worth playing though - but if you want to finish it you will need to buy one of the support books telling you how. ![]()

Re: Grab That Broom, Wincewind! I Command You! Yes I have played the first Discworld game. I had to being a big fan of Rincewind. ![]() It was simply mind boggling! I have to admit in the end I needed the help of a guide... ![]() Yet it was funny, I am still in search of a luggage like the one in the game... ![]()

Re: Grab That Broom, Wincewind! I Command You! I played the first one until Wincewind ended up on top of a tower and the dragon kept flying past and I couldn't get down...So I gave up... I played the second game and finished it, there's a great deal of trial and error involved if you don't want to use a guide, but it's great fun exploring the various possibilities, Eric Idle ad-libbed a lot in this game... I got it from a friend last night so I'm going to go through it again, and I got DW Noir too, I have no idea what that one's like...Anyone?
