And I love that everything I've heard of him live is at least a reasonable approximation of the studio stuff. He wasn't a studio poseur. *sigh* We've lost some good ones lately.

That's a very interesting movie. I've never heard the music apart from the movie (and I've only seen that twice) so I'm not sure what it would be like but it was effective "in place".
