this time, he has the horn of Deschain (Gilead?) with him, which he didn't before. In a karmic wheel, each time he will get more until he learns his lesson, and can be allowed on, rather than back... I kinda hope he saves Susan one time, using one of them infernal doors.
ps: the ending gobsmacked me... completely - one of the best endings of a book I've ever read - a finish but no finish. Brilliant!
