here's my 2 bits worth lol... I think that Scully and Doggett use the full title for a couple of reasons, their relationship is just new and they need to show professionalism & Scully didn't want anyone else as a partner, she didn't want to lose Mulder and she will never be on the same level with Doggett as she was with Mulder(at the moment that is!)She hasn't accepted the fact that Mulder is not part of the X-Files. I have to admit that i think John Doggett's character is brilliant.(plus the fact he is gorgeous so i may be a little biased.) I think he fits in well, and i think his life has a story or 2 to tell which will make him more suitable to the X-Files. As we discover all the areas of his life, just like we know Mulders, Scully will accept him and he will accept her, then maybe he'll believe all the other strange things that happen in the X-Files. He's nearly there already! i think that Mulder should fizzle out quite quickly though to let Agent Doggetts character develop, Mulders not the main man anymore and the sooner John Doggett is left to his own devices the better. Don't get me wrong, i also loved Milder but, recently, Mulders heart hasn't been in the X-Files, he wants to spread his wings and try something different, i say thats ok too, he made the X-Files what they are today, he'll never be forgotten. Mulder and Doggett will always have a tiny bit of friction between them, although i think thats Mulders doing not Doggetts, but, you can understand that, i mean, someone else coming in and stepping right into your shoes sometimes sticks in your throat but, hey..these things happen! Doggetts the man, Mulder used to be...thats the way the world goes. starling

lets face it, Doggett only got the job cos Mulder was missing, his remit was to find Mulder.. So now Mulder is back, of course he doesnt like the fact that someone else is in his chair, but he should accept the fact that Doggett and Scully have a good working relationship, and not be so closed-minded about his motives... Anyway I dont think Mulder will feature past the end of the season..

I don't think he will too. But wahey to Agent Doggett. I like him. Hes a pretty cool dude. He's finding it hard going with Mulders interference but the boy will come good. annette

Arrrgh! Spoilers! Can't read beyond first few posts... Anyway, in NZ we haven't had too many episodes with Doggett in them. I was so annoyed when I found out that Mulder was leaving. And Doggett always looks like he's about to pop an artery or something. He's a little too... tightly wound for my liking. Quite a shock after relaxed-to-the-extreme Mulder.
