I escaped retail hell about 10 years ago, after 10 years of servitude (dang it, this could have been a much better 75 worder on redemption

)and the main thing is stick the smile on your face, keep it there, go out the back store and kick whatever you need to - but not another staff member or customer; generally frowned on - up and down the store.
Then go back and smile some more.
And I'm a people person and I like customers.
Think on the bright side, no matter what you work at after 10 years of it has to be an improvement.
