Thanks for that and best of luck with your book. Australian SAS finding themselves in Viking times sounds intriguing.

I think that the key is to be as professional as possible, get the book edited well and get a good cover, set the book out well etc.

But the hard part is getting sales. Getting some interest going etc. What I do is blog around the subject areas - in my case historical fiction and fantasy so you can blog about history, publishing, the fantasy elements etc, I did a post on time travel once - that kind of thing.

Trying to establish some area of expertise or the idea you know about a certain subject. Now you were in the Australian armed forces so there will be tales there I am sure that would help.
