| I'll just copy the article on that link before it is replaced. First script read-through takes place as Bye and Naylor gear up for directors chair The main cast for the forthcoming, long awaited Red Dwarf movie have had their first chance to enjoy the script, after a read-through session at Shepperton last week, it has emerged. The full series line-up - including Aliens actor Mac McDonald as Captain Hollister - read through the completed script of the series' big screen outing, which is scheduled for release in 2002. It has also emerged that series director Ed Bye and writer Doug Naylor will share the directors seat for the forthcoming film. The offical Red Dwarf site reported: "Getting such a busy cast together in one room actually proved to be a difficult task. Early concerns were that Danny's current appearance in Blade 2: Bloodhunt - which will be shooting in Prague - might render him unable to attend. But both he and co-star Robert Llewellyn - who is currently in the midst of his Channel 4 series Scrapheap - managed to clear spaces in their schedules just in time. " |
