| Wherever I Am, I'm There | Oh No! Peachy, you voted for the wrong ship! If you wanted the original Enterprise you should have voted 'USS Enterprise (No A, No B, No ******D)' - that's what Scotty said about it in 'Relics'- maybe I didn't make it very clear - if so I can change it. The Enterprise A is the one they get at the end of 'The Voyage Home'. The original being self-destructed at the Genesis planet in 'The Search for Spock'. It is the same class of ship - Constitution - though. |

| Wherever I Am, I'm There | Why do I like the 'Defiant'? The Defiant is not a ship of exploration. She is a true Warship built to fight the Borg, but instead used to patrol up front against the Dominion. She was probably overloaded with firepower and engines, but she was a highly functional battleship with a tight crew housed in minimalist quarters, the stoutest line of defence Starfleet could have asked for. |

| Wherever I Am, I'm There | I liked the episode 'Flashback' when they did the after 'The Undiscovered Country' thing with Sulu and the Excelsior. There is a big section of fans who keep pressing for Sulu and the Excelsior to have his own series. They wanted Series Five to be this in fact. I think it's a great idea, but I still like the Defiant better as a ship! |

| Wherever I Am, I'm There | Not if it were set about 10-20 years after 'The Undiscovered Country' and pre-Next Generation. That is the idea. There is a series of books based on that assumption, but I haven't read many Star Trek fiction books so I don't know the plots. |
