I missed a bit, umm quite a big bit actually...

So what happened to Mulder, now he's gone??

Well we all know that Mulder was abducted at the end of Season 7. What's been happening is the Mulder Hunt.

We find out that he was dying which may have also been a way for TPTB to drop the character. I don't recall if they ever said what he was actually dying from.

Then in "This Is Not Happening" we find that the aliens are starting to drop off the abductees that were taken with Mulder. We also find out that Josuah (was that his name?) is here and with a handful of other people they are rounding up these abductees and Josuah is bringing them back to life. Unfortunately Scully, Doggett, Skinner, and the rest of the FBI crew interrupt Josuah while he's trying to save Mulder when he gets dropped off. So as far as we know right now, Mulder is dead.

well i was reading in a magazine that david duchovney was only signed up to do the 8? seasons he did on the show. ht eproducers asked him if he would stay for a season or more but supposidly the friction between him angd gillian anderson was getting real strong, and david couldnt work with her for much longer. also david has decided he wants to do a couple of movies and spend some more time with his wife and daughter!aw!

DD isn't coming back for season 9...so we don't know what they plan on doing with Mulder...he was still around at the end of 8 so it depends on how they get rid of him...he has says that he will do another movie though...so killing him of isn't likely

the alien thing is plausable...who knows how that virus affected him...they say that he got the anitdote in time...but did he really?
