I know "BUFFY" doesn't get the respect it deserves for being a drama but, The episode ("THE BODY") where Buffy finds her mother S P O I L E R dead of a brain aneurysm is one of the best episode I have ever seen in a long time. Sarah Michelle Geller should get an Emmy for that performance, if there was any episode which deals with the death of a family member this would be it. I was wondering if anybody saw that episode and what they thought of it? http://home.earthlink.net/~joselg

Hi there GODHOOD. I hope you don't take offence but I inserted a spoiler warning into your post as some people here aren't as far advanced as you in the show. But don't take it personally, and keep on posting ![]()

Yeah I just found out tuesday night that her mum was dead! I was so shocked! I missed the ep she died in so I didn't know how she died. Thanks Godhood for this thread. It is so sad that she died. you know? I was hoping she would live through it. even though she wasn't a main character she was important cause she was Buffy's Mom. Does this mean that Buffy and Dawn will have to move and go live with thier dad?

Well sense her father didn't show up to the funeral, I'm guessing she'll be in sunnydale. Besides she's an adult now, Dawn and her can live together. http://home.earthlink.net/~joselg

Nice picture GODHOOD ![]() I thought this was a really good episode, not just the reactions of all the cast, but the way it was directed as well, with lots of silence... And I'm now going to boot this thread into the Season 5 forum cos thats what we're discussing now...
