yeah that was totally a case of..hmm we have an evil duncan, but how can we make him good again?? Fight himself in an underground pond?? Sure, why not, and let Methos help so it can be a really old pond...

I mean, this DQ thing seems more like an evil that passes along through Immortals not something dissipated just like that.

That way, when the Ultimate Battle of the so-called Gathering does come....you've got this really really really DQ'ed immie and some random good-guy (Methos!).

Talk about the Ultimate Battle between good and evil.

Evil Duncan - while he was the most interesting of the duncan's post-season3 - was stupid -

yes - it would have been cool for someone else to kill Duncan and become evil -- and continue to pass the DQ along -- but they weren't gonna do that -----

and -- why couldn't Duncan just kill a really good immie -- i mean Darius-like -- that's how Darius became good -- but guess they figured they'd already used that, so they'd try something else -

oh yes - b/c NO ONE else would know where to find a really old pond ---- there can't be any historians or archaeologists in Paris who might have intimate knowledge of the underground - only Methos can know that --


and did ya notice that the location of that underground pond looked a lot like the yard near Sean Burns' place??? hmmmmmm
