As there's not a lot of info available yet, I've been pondering about Saturn and here are my thoughts.
I'm presuming that somebody in charge of bringing this story to the big screen has decided that Lord Foul is not a suitable character for a general audience and (for some reason) Saturn is a better choice. What bothers me is not so much the name change but the other areas that may change along with it.
If Lord Foul is unsuitable - what about the nature of despite? Is that suitable? And what about the name Saturn - has this particular title been chosen for a particular reason? (could it be a reference to Saturn - god of the harvest? Would this tie in with some point about the Sunbane?)
My major concern is this - if it moves too far away from the original, it may not find an audience at all - but by changing too much may just alienate its natural audience (ie. Donaldson fans).
