| This is a great flim. the special Effects are out of date. Put the diologue and acting are not. My fave scene is when Scott talks to his wife from a dollhouse. FYI eddie Murphy is doing a remake. it will be played for laughs. I'm going to watch just to see what happens. Good or bad. ZachWZ |

| Wherever I Am, I'm There | Incredible Shrinking Man, The (1957) http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0050539 Directed by Jack Arnold. Writing credits: Richard Matheson (also novel The Shrinking Man) & Richard Alan Simmons. After an exposure in his boat to a strange mist, Scott Carey begins to shrink. His doctor is confounded. His cat attacks him. Then he accidently gets locked in the basement. His very life then becomes a battle for survival, with only his wits to overcome the liability of his size. Even spiders are huge deadly monsters. I agree completely with ZachWZ and this is a URL for the new version: http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0249596 |

| I heard that Universal brieifly planned a sequel for this movie in the 60's. It was to be called "The Fantastic Little Girl." The supposed plot would be Lousie Carey shrinks down to super-microscopic size and meets her hubby. Don't know much other than that. ZachWZ |
