I really liked the first hour or so of Fellowship - the way we see the Shire, and the invasive terror of the Nazgul is just superb. Favourite part of the entire trilogy, actually, as there's so much character in it, and the platform for all that follows is firmly shaped.
Also loved seeing the RingWraiths in ROTK - flying on those creatures was a very impressive visual effect - not least scooping up the riders and scatternig them frmo the air. Truly great - I'll definitely buy the ROTK extended edition just to see moer of them.
