what is "imdb"?

the "internet movie database" www.imdb.com
It lists pretty much every movie (well the american and european ones i guess) and has files on all the actors listing what fims and tv shows they've been in...

as for Charlie.. check out Philip Akin's biography: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Akin,+Philip

okay - been reading along --

Darius -- he had to die - why? b/c Werner Stocker, the man who played Darius, had a brain tumor and died. Darius could never come back to the show. If I remember correctly, Werner actually died b4 they finished filming the episode where Darius dies - so all the Darius scenes in that ep are from previous eps -- it was very sad to learn that such a talented actor was stricken w/ a disease and he kept if from everyone -- very sad ---

Richie --- ugh is all i can say --- but yes, he does die -- wanna know who kills him -- i can tell you ---- (i won't now in case someone doesn't want to know)

Amanda -- she's -- comic relief in a way -- most fans don't like her, though she has her uses ---

Tessa - she was okay in the beginning - and i didn't want her to die -- but Alexandra Vandernoot wanted to leave the show - so her character had to disappear too - and since Duncan proposed - kinda hard for them to just break up --

Methos - ahh --- Methos - one of the 4 Horsemen (this is where the TRUE double identity stuff comes in) if you haven't seen seasons 4 and 5 - boy are you missing out!! Season 5 has some of the BEST Methos episodes!!

season 6 -- well - that season just sucked - nothing really good happened - so if you haven't seen it -- don't sweat it - you're not missing anything worth seeing anyway -- there might have been 2 good eps the whole season - AND they ended the series really badly --- ugh --

its very sad to hear that about Werner Stocker... Darius was a good character, but it did have a big impact on McLeod and the watcher storyline...

no i dont want to know about Ritchie

i'm living in the hope of someday seeing the last seasons of this show

i've seen up to the end of S4 i think, the one where McLeod is to be killed by the watchers...

yep - that would be the end of S4 -- s5 is pretty good - s6 sucks -

so - you decide -- i'll warn you that the end of the series is highly disappointing --- but that's all i'll do --- for now -----

let me know if you DO want spoilers and i can send them along -

otherwise -- i'll just play w/ teasers --

and yes - for most, it is finished --

they could have kept going, but they would have had to have re-written season 6 b/c it was total crap -- so - they should just begin again --

we (the methos fans) are still holding out for a Methos based series!

I mean if they can make a reasonably OK (but not great) series about Amanda, then Methos should have plenty of material....

man - there is soooo much they could do w/ Methos - he's so colorful - has a sordid past and everything --

Amanda's show would have been better if they hadn't focused so much on her being a thief -- and probably if they had dumped Duncan in every now and then - or Methos - or some of the other HIghlander characters --- morons --

someone told me that Joe was on Raven -- so, i guess he was -

the guy who played Kronos was on Raven too --

man - just do a Methos show -- it'd be sooo much more interesting -- not only that, but Methos has sooo many more fans than Amanda does -- most HL fans didn't really like Amanda from what i understand -- she has her uses, but she's not the strongest character --

i quite liked her as a side char to Duncan, you probably felt she made him even more "boy scout"

her series didnt seem to have enough bite though..

no - she didn't make him 'boy scout' he did that on his own (actually - it was the writers) -- but -- she wasn't strong enough to hold her own show -- i mean - her character is a thief - that's it - she's a thief - how strong a show can you have centered around that??

i didn't mind Amanda - she had her uses, but she was just kinda wimpy --

Methos is a much stronger character w/ a larger fan base - better suited for a show of his own (which they might produce)
