We have seen on occasion that Giles has a dodgy past...

Does this make his super-stiff attitude (esp in the early episodes) seem a little unrealistic?

maybe it's trying to hold the bad guy in check that does it. you know an episode delving into giles dark and murky past would be good...peachy

yeah! We've had the odd hint, but a whole ep on it would be cool

Heck if Wesley can pull off "rogue demon hunter" then god knows what Giles could get up to...

i liked that episode with the chocolate, buffys mum and giles getting it together, then when it wore off, there embarassment...peachy

yeah, that was agood insight into his past, and whenever they see each other since that point, lots of embarassments!!

we definatly need more giles insights, do you remember what he looked like on his grand shop opening day, that picture of him still makes me laugh...peachy

yeah thats the one, he had on a big long gown thingy and a very big pointed hat, with stars and moon all over it i think. but the look on his face just took the biscuit...peachy

Giles is English. Not only do the Americans think that the English have a stiff upper lip but they also gave Giles starch in his underpants!!!

I like Giles too. But I'd much rather chase Angel.

yeah the portrayal of the British in US shows really sucks... they're all the same reserved stuck up character...

At lease in Buffy, they play Spike as a Brit with attitude, and Giles has some sense, more in the later seasons...
