Commenting on the unofficial title "The Watcher" compared to the official title "Ripper":

"[The Watcher's] a good title and describes what Tony is doing", Whedon told Cinescape Online. "Ripper is what I call it because it's Giles' old nickname and a bit sexier.".

IMDb lists September 2002 as the US debut for the show, but they don't list a source for this info. There is no date for BBC broadcast.

That's if it's a hit in England...if not than they might not show it in America.

Bath is quite traditional in places...spooky at night, which is perfect.

No, I think they'll wait till the end of season 6 on Sky, or possibly BBC2.

Wow, people haven't been posting round these parts for a while, have they?

Bad news on the "Ripper" front. Apparently it has been pushed to the back burner while Joss is working on getting Firefly up and running.
