I don't think it was a good idea to force a thread for every episode, especially the old ones. If there's no comment on an episode that over five years old, maybe there's nothing new to say about it.

Many of our topics don't fit just one episode and making them all "sticky" forces us to page down past a lot of empty threads to find the new posts.

I'm not upset about it, but it does seem like an unnecessary addition.

Just my two cents.

ob. thanks for your comments, I'm not trying to force topics on anyone, creating the threads for each episode, and making them sticky were orders from on high (i think i previously mentioned that to you??)...

[markpud: I'm not trying to force topics on anyone, creating the threads for each episode, and making them sticky were orders from on high.]

I wasn't blaming you. In fact, I didn't even mention you. Defensive, much?

I was just commenting on the change, wasn't looking to blame anyone. I don't really agree with the changes, but they're only a mild annoyance.

----------------
I tried to put us back on topic, but I couldn't think of anything left to be said about the Initiative that would have started the ball rolling. It's kind of a dead topic for now.

Why didn't they just pump Adam full of bullets...or fired a rocket at him????? I know he could only be killed by destroying his power source inside of him but enough bullets would've done the trick.

i think his body armour was bullet proof....and rocket launchers ain't all that easy to get hold of, they had to steal the last one they used... besides super-Buffy was a pretty cool solution

He didn't have body armour, and they were in a military installation why didnt they just tell the initiative where he was, they would have got rocket launchers. Super Buffy was cool though .

well body-armour or not, he was a pretty tough customer, and I don't think a normal gun would have much effect on him...

Maybe not, but surely a whole army of machine guns would have. A bullet would have finally penetrated his power source.

okay - since this ep was just aired (again) -- comments --

1) there are tons o' spoilers in this thread that should be later in the season 4 section (not major spoilers, but some)

2) - Spike breaks out of the Initiative! (and James is now a regular cast member!)

3) - Riley - ugh - don't like him, he's dorky -- i like Graham better -

4) - well - can't really think of a 4 - but finally! the ep where Harmony burns all of Spike's stuff -- for the life of me i couldn't remember which one it was - this was it -- grrr -- don't ya hate it when you can't remember details like that??
