or maybe the official board at warnerbros.com

B5 deserves more respect than this.

Babylon5 is a brand new section to ASciFi.com and hence it only has 1 forum. As it grows, and that is something we hope will happen, then it will warrant its own major section. Posting links to other forums is however, unlikely to help make it grow.

Hello, Gkar.

Welcome, Gkar,

If you do not think we are giving Babylon 5 the respect it deserves, what can you as a member of this board do about it? THIS: You can post and open constructive and positive dialogues with others about coming here and posting.

We do ask that you keep your posts 'g' rated as you have done, that you do not flame other members and that you keep your posts positive and friendly toward others. Please feel free to come back, post and start new threads in the appropriate fora to bring this area up to what you feel would be a good place for others to come and join a useful and fun dialogue.

If you have questions please e-mail me, jsc, or padders, the cheif administrator.

remember too, that all that we're seeing now is repeats, and a lot of these discussions have been had, or not had, but forgotten...a lot of us are discussing what's new, so it gets a little hard to get really enthusiastic about something that's already done, even if it IS the BEST sci-fi show ever done..

Lightbulb Babylon-5

The best thing you can do for this forum is 'Share the Wealth!' Let others know we're here. Drop a small comment in your sig line about the B-5 threads here. Shout it from the rooftops!

Drag up any subject or topic. I loved the show on it's 'first pass' and I'm lovin' as much if not more now during it's rebirth.

To get the ball rolling [and I asked this on one of the other B-5 threads here on this board], why don't you think back and come up with a couple of episodes of scenes that really impacted you. Something that took your breath away, hit you in the gut, left you smiling or in tears.

I'll start. One 'hit me between the eyes' scene was between Marcus and Neroon - when Marcus was delaying the Minbari from stoping Delenn's Ent'el'zah ceremony. The look of utter dedication and conviction when he stared at Naroon, beaten and broken in body, but not in mind, knowing he was going to quite probably die, and told him, point blank: "We live for the One. We die for the One. In Valen's Name.".

And Neroon's reply later in Med Lab.

Let me know one of the visions JMS gave us that hit you. I'd love to hear it.

Faith Manages.

Rowan.I really loved the end of that episode. It cracked up me and Neroon both at the same time...Talking of Neroon I thought he wasjust magnificent in his laying down of his life and caste for his planet.
