How could they kill him of???? He was cute and had power. Did the actor decide to quit or something???? It really ticks me off that he had to die for the lesser of two evils. ![]() ![]() ![]() We were just starting to get to really know and understand his character and the writers go and kill him off! What on earth were they thinking?????The only upside was Cordy Actually got a Better character role in the show And before Doyal died I was about to say kick her off the show cause she was as Ditzy as she was in HS on Buffy. <You have found an Easter Egg >

i liked doyle too, it was a shame was killed off, the episode where he died was really sad. i agree with you that cordy's charactor has got better since she inherited doyle's gift? she can still be a pain somes time though, but i think she was starting to like doyle just before he was killed...peachy

It was a shame that Doyle was killed off. He played a really great character. A typical 'irish or irish-american boy'. With him passing his 'gift' onto Cordy, it seems to be making her a decent person (for want of a better description) . Annette. ![]()

It was a shame to see him go... If they could have worked it so that he passed the gift to Cordy, but stayed alive, and Wesley comes in as well, it would have been better all round. A bigger character base works well, look at the way Joss weaves the Buffy scripts around quite a few people...

Doyle was okay but there wasnt really anyplace for the character to go. He was a bum who would have been okay as an outside character but as a mainstay he wasnt that great. Wesley is thou'. Cordy's grown up and smelt the roses. Happens to everyone. I like Wesley.

trying to remember, I thought she found out he was part demon just before he died?? I haven't seen that ep for a while, but I think it's coming on again in the UK shortly (C4), so I will be able to recall...

I did watch it again, just to appreciate it better with the benefit of hindsight.. It was a good ep, I think I;d missed the beginning part of it last time, or else it was edited or i'm forgetful.... the parts where Angel tells Doyle about what happened in the "missing" day with Buffy, etc..
