Looking for particular brand of danny whumping - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

I'm home, sick, and bored. and need some danny-whumping to cheer me up. I particualrly like when Daniel passes out once the rest of the teams "safe" (usualy gateroom) or where Daniel and someone else have a fight and then he gets hurt (meaning angst

) if you could recomend any stores, and a few links I'd be very grateful.

she's got a huge collection of danny whumpin.
i think there is a fic on helio called absolution where jack whacks danny around.
also unsung heroes though that one is VERY GRAPGIC! danny gets whumped in the worst way and it's rated r for a reason so if you're not old enough, think twice about reading it.
i think there is a link to hand in hand on helio. it's a jb/jmas danny whump it's good and intense, rated r for violence i guess, but it's no where near as bad as unsung heroes.
scribe's true foundations is also danny whumpin with a little jack whumpin thrown in.
if it's on helio, sassysioux's just a scratch is a goody.

that's about all that come to mind, i sorta stopped reading danny whump a while back, just got to be too much for me...poor guy never catches a break(unless it's a rib or two) and "j'ak" was starting to get on my nerves

Yeah, I always wondered about that "Ja'k" thing myself. Whats it supposed to sound like? I just don't see how you can shorten a one sylable word (unless he's like hiccuping in the middle of it or something).

i dont' get the j'ak thing either...gotten to the point where it makes me cringe, just getting to be a peeve of mine i guess.

actually read a fic the other day that had sam saying it...had to go back and re-read to make sure danny hadn't slipped in it somehow LOL

m'kay that ja'k thing. Its a bitweird but you know when your going hoarse and you kind of fade out when you talk, I guess that could work... pretty cute but over used

Just out of interest, what other fanfiction pet peeves do people have? What are the sorts of things that make you completely give up on a fic?

One thing that really annoys me is whan people don't spell names correctly. It's not so bad for minor characters, but I would think that most fans of the show, especially those in the online community, would be able to spell Teal'c in the right way.
