This a quote from upgrades when Daniel, Jack & Sam started to explain why they had gone out, even though Gen Hammond told then not to. I'm not sure how it goes, but I think it's something like this, "General Let me explain...no...I can't expain it", plus the way he was saying it as well was cool as well.

Actually, I think Daniel has always been somewhat of a sarcastic guy - he's just not been vocal with it. Jack's influence has definitely helped.
