There's no way to know for certain, as this hasn't really been said in canon (as far as I know.) But it's certainly worth a fic!

Well, I still haven't read 'Mosaic', I'm afraid I've been reading other science fiction and fantasy.

I just resurrected this thread, so some of our newer members would add their views.

I recently finished, By the Book the new Enterprise book. I was really good for a new series.

Yes, Trelane is in the Q. It was said in a book. He got so much power, he overpowered the etire Q Continuum all by himself. It took the Enterprise crew and Q himself (who, by chance, escaped from Trelane's prison...) to stop him. Dang, I forgot that title! That X-Men book is called "Planet X".

"The Romulan Prize" was a great book!

William Shatner has an excellent series out about the mirror universe. Forget what it is called though. The first is hard to stick with, but by the second, the plot really thickens.

The "Trelane as part of the Q Continuim" novel is Q Squared by Peter David. If you like Q, it's worth a read. Personally, I really like David's work, especially Imzadi.

I also recommend The Devil's Heart (TNG) by Carmen Carter (especially if you're intrigued by the Iconians) and the two Jeri Taylor books (Mosaic and Pathways), discussed above.

If you want to go Old School, Peter David's The Captain's Daughter, set after the events of Generations is good.

Finally, three books featuring the original crew from highly regarded Aaward winning SF authors: Planet of Judgement and World Without End by Joe Haldeman and Corona (quite a thought provoking book) by Greg Bear.

Planet of Judgement has a very poignant scene in which Spock flashes back to his childhood and a visit to Earth.

All good novels.

Ive read Mosaic, its quite a good read. My favourate star trek novel is Q squared by Peter David. It follows several different timelines all concerning the crew of The Enterprise. If anyone can remember the tng episode where all the enterprises appeared from alternative universes and wondered what it would be like to look at the differences between them, then this is the book for you.

I just read Homecoming by Christie Golden- it's set after Voyager returns back home (yeah i know, i really new and original idea

) But it's really well done. A few different plot lines that you know are going to intersect but can't figure out quite how and ofcourse watching everyone meet their families again (And Chakotay and Seven breaking up!!! YAY - sorry just couldn't keep that to myself

)

But one problem: It's a two book series. And i can't find anything anywhere about when the next book will be out so if you don't like long waits, you might want to wait a while and read them both together
