Last time the judge couldn't laugh when I went into details. -Other notes, yeah reminds me of african border crossings; they usually mean a banknote when they say a note/paper is missing. -Agh no, or yes, but I'm too lazy to type it down. |

Hobbies: Reading (mainly fantasy), Internet, computer games (mainly RPG's), regular RPG's, heck, I don't do much. Likes: tea, books, human race, computers, filk music - although I don't know much songs, House dislikes: I hate it when I'm reading the last pages of a really good book, and the phone rings, or suddenly my father wants me to help him with the computer. It happened to me too many times when I read "A Night in the Lonesome October". Generally, I think phones are more annoying then actually helping. Other notes: I'm a cynical and proud of it. |

Name - Willie Meikle Age - 40something Location - Kinross, UK Hobbies - Reading, Film, writing, blues guitar playing, wildlife, archaeology ... but mainly writing... it eats up most of my spare time Interests - Writing. I write Scottish based genre fiction.... five novels and loads of shorts published so far, and a low budget movie getting made in 2007 from one of my scripts.... Dislikes - dumba$$ TV shows that trivialize the genre... "Horror" images are now so much part of our culture that many of them have ceased to be frightening, so much so that we now get teenage girls vanquishing demons and vampires in Buffy, killing psychokillers in the Scream franchise, and torching more demons and warlocks in Charmed. It has become "Horror-Lite" for people who want to be nearly scared. Real scares have been replaced with mock martial arts fight scenes, and terror is a word that is rarely used anymore. I'd like to see horror getting back to the basics of actually scaring people. "The Blair Witch Project" and "The Ring" movies are a step in the right direction. (End of rant) |

Hobbies - Writing, acting, swimming, walking, the ever so noble art of sitting on ones backside! Interests - Studying the Ancient World, flirting way too much with way too many girls (and I haven't even started uni yet!) Drinking with my mates and playing a few games of poker, chatting to new and interesting people online and general stuff like that really! Likes - When I get a text message from the girl I like, well that and getting stories accepted by magazines. Dislikes - Rejection letters! Rude people and there being no food in the fridge meaning I have to defrost something. |
