| Re: All about us. Maire Brennan/ Moya's new album, Two Horizons, is very good-- a bit more electronic than Enya. Aine Minogue is more traditional Celtic. I came across another Irish singer with a really lovely voice on Narada's compilation Celtic Spirit. I believe her name is Aoife Ni Fhearraigh, but I could well have misspelled that! |

Which means im on the cupse (or however u spell it) between capricorn and sagitarius BUT i have more typical capricorn traits Location: London, UK. But feeling the need to move. I get too restless and can't really afford to be living in london at the mo  Hobbies: Reading (mostly fantasy, but also like authors such as John Fowles and John Irving), listening to music (all types, but main loves are: drum and bass, breaks, indie, classical, jazz, electro, tech house, soul), RPGs, playing the piano, composing (but I'm not very good any more uni screwed me up) errrrmmmmm films (anything apart from horror - saw sin city on friday, they showed trailers for horror films before was s***ing myself, and have had nightmares everynight since )Interests: The above plus: ancient greek mythology, nazi germany, star wars, comics (mostly batman and fantastic four), dungeons and dragons (the cartoon series hehe) website: Currently chronicles is my new favourite site on the web, along with www.dogonacid.com (for all things drum and bass hehe) LJ/blog: Haven't got one! Likes: Music (see above for what!), hybrid, dom & roland, squarepusher (ok theyre music producers but they are my gods!), the internet, fantasy books, sci fi films, manga, disney cartoons upto the lion king (beauty and beast is still the best animated film!), people with a random sense of humour, alcohol  , clubs, theatre, generally having fun . O and the smilies on this site hehe. dislikes: Pigeons, big dogs, school kids on the bus (too annoying and don't move out the way!), rude people, racism, sexism, homophobia, aohell, big brother, people who say they hate something that they've never tried of listened too, living at home with my mum - gotta move, being unemployed and not finding any work which means I'm proper proper proper skint (if anyone has any money that they have lying around that they don't know what to do with, I'll give you my paypal details ) Other notes: Apparently I talk to fast and say too many things that don't make sense (they make sense if you know what I'm on about ), i say WAY too often "if you don't like this tune i can never talk to you again" like my own company but get lonely if i don't talk to someone face to face in the day, text far too much (and therefore have evil evil EVIL phone bills). Slightly nervous about intos, but am really liking this site and slowly getting used to finding stuff, so here goes Likes, (apart from the obvious SF&Fantasy) some manga and anime (not real horror) collecting children's classic stories (including SF), Greenday, SnowPatrol, Edward Gorey, Myst and similar, photography, putzing around in paintshop pro, Buffy (sigh - all gone), Angela Carter, Patrick O'Brian, collecting & writing ghost stories, Green and Blacks, 2nd world war aircraft, the Clash and cats Dislikes; not having spellcheck, (my security blanket), the bombers who blew up parts of the city I call home yesterday, people who borrow books and don't give them back (not ever me, yr'honour), ironing and Hershy Kisses |

| Re: All about us. Wasn;t gonna do this but after reading a few of the other introductions I can see loads of comments hwere I say, "hey, me 2!", Name: Dominique (I prefer niki) Age:18 (only just!) Location: Manchester, but i'll soon be moving up to Durham for University Hobbies: reading ( I think this is everyones 1st hobby!) I mainly like Fantasy, I prefer to watch Sci-fi, computer- especially star wars BattleFront (how great is it!), rugby, music (give me rock or indie anyday, but also a bit of Otis Redding!) Interests: Chemistry and quantum Physics (although I only know all of one person I can actually talk to about it), astronomy, playing on Final Fantasy 7,8 ,9 10 and 10-2 again and again. Likes:Music (above), goin out to the old man pubs until I get drunk then it's teh clubs!, and food gotts be the top one, especially chinese. purple/violet. Dislikes- PIDGEONS! They always crap on me- im startin to take it personally! Big brother, im sue there are loads more things I don;t like, but I also hate whining to people because it just make you sound a bit crazy, so i'll shut it. Other notes: I talk way to fast, and i tend to fall asleep in the middle of the day for no reason at all. |
