seems to be u're right -- when you're on the site it automatically loads the home.asp file -- if u push "back" it loads the home.asp file again ... don't know what sense this has (perhaps to hold you on the site

)

why do ya' call ur PC ancient ? what's the speed of it ??

i haven't only watched and downloaded the pictures on stargate.com so i haven't read any reports -- i'm not a reader i like the pics much more

No, it's just that my computer sometimes has touble logging me into this forum, and asking padders about it, he reckons my computer or browser or modem is just old. I dunno what that speed of it is, but it's quite fast.
BTW, seeing as your a Peter Williams fan, (or is it just Apophis?!) do you know, why, when searching for webpages, and you type 'Peter Williams' it comes up with P.W. I, II, III, IV, etc. I shtere like a huge clan of Peter Williams' or something?! Maybe they really *are* trying to take over the world! Or at least the entertainment part of it...

i like the character Apophis but Peter Williams is a great actor so i like him too -- he plays very good - i ordered a photo of apophis (from "the nox") with the original signature of PW .. i'll upload this photo in original size onto my homepage in next time ..
you're right when searching for peter williams there are a lot of results which aren't the stargate "p. williams" -- think there are lot of other PW's so it's very difficult to find any PW webpages (i've found total 3 - and the official page isn't online yet

) posted the ebay link of this pic in this forum -- i saw it and went to the site and registered ...
i liked the pic and was great that it is signed by PW and so i entered the auction -- after 2 bets i was the winner ..
the company was very friendly 'cos it was my first "internet transfer" and i had much questions -- after removin' all problems i send the money and recieved the pic and it was GREAT !!

a LAN (Local Area Network) party is where much (i visited LAN's with 30 people but there are also parties with up to 2.000 people) people come together and connect their PC's to a very big LAN (nearly alaway 100 MBIt and some with 1 GBit backbone) -- then all begin to play multiplayer games and share their files (vids [-> HOPE THERE ARE PC'S WITH STARGATE PICS ON THE NEXT LAN PARTY !! <-], music files and much other ..)

there are much tournaments and there are also prices on some LAN parties (i won about 90 US$ at a LAN party) ..

in summary i must say it is a lot , very lot of fun and it's quite better than playing via internet 'cos u can see and talk with your "virtual enemies" ..

this isn't really a reply, I have to go out, like RIGHT NOW, and I cant remember what you wanted to know about the hieroglyphs, but there a great site with Mayan Lang, and hieroglyphs distionaries, and every other language on this earth (you should write and offer a dictionary of Goa'uld dialect!) Sorry for the somewhat garbled previous post, I was late, and I had to go out. You know, it's strange, I was gonna go and see a friend and her band play in this nightclub, on the same night as Stargate was on (I got a friend to record it for me), and I actually didn't regret going out! Do you think my Stargate obsession is weakening?!

Don't know if your interested in the link, it's just got like American Indian languages, Egyptian and Mayan, plus 'modern' languages. I found it while looking for an online Spanish dictionary!

In response to your goodnight, then good morning - here it's 7:35 (I'm an early riser, but I choose to catch the latest bus!), altho seeing as I went to bed @ 11 last night, I'm somehwat tireder than usual. Not that this paragraph has anything to do with Stargate, but hey.

Well, I generally don't need my sleep, and I know if i get up early, then I've got loadsa free time b4 I go 2 college, to go on the internet

Hello again!

I was only joking about the card. I think I was a bit hyped up when I wrote that last post. It's just, whenever anyone says 'Oh, I just had a thought', it sounds as tho they're saying it was their first thought, so I'd just joke and say I'd send them a card, to mark the occasion. No, my birthdays in August, I've got ages to go. I'm always the youngest in my year.

If anything, my life will soon be over - there's only the season finale S4 left to be shown, and that'll be this wednesday. My sister's seen an advert, but I haven't!

I can't believe you're up @ 1:34! What time did you go 2 bed? Oh yes, and that reminds me of a Goa'uld related question - do you think they need sleep? I know they've got the sarc, but do they like sleep in it every night? And another thing I don't undertsand, even after watching Star Trek (you have that in Austria?), when you're in space, how do you know if it's day or night, 'cos it's always pitch black outside!
