hey jsc long time no see!! workworkstudies...

u know one of my best scene in 2010 was the verbal fight ( scene de menage)between sam and joe , u know the whole "please that was different, it's the same, NO, it's exactly the same" thing.
and if i'd have to get myself a husband,i think i'd rather marry maybourne or even anise than this mister ambassador good for nothing ass in his head joe..
i mean have you seen his face!!!?? yuk yuk!! when i think she has slept in the same bed with him..brrr only the thought makes me shiver..
anyway i'm surprised that she chose him over our good colonel, not that i wanna see them together mind you, not before the very last episode of the very last season.
and as for jack, i really don't think he would leave like this and retire far from any civilisation, living in a cabin like a sad and lonely old man who must use his right hand more than often..
he wouldn't leave those he loved and who loved him back just like this, nono not possible.
well that's not the future i would have imagined anyway, i thought his team would mean more to him than that.
one last thing : what's the use of turning a planet into a star??
because a star is like a sun so if we had another sun instead of jupiter we would be toasts by now wouldn't we??

Hi stillzen, welcome back! Hope you were successful!

You also brought up the point that bothered me... Jupiter into another sun. Skydiver doesn't understand this also. I know it would raise the temp. of the earth alot and probably do a greenhouse effect. Not only would we not survive but what is the reason? We don't know what the Achen would gain from that. But gain they would.

I didn't like Joe but yes on Martouf!

just a stupid question that has nothing to do with stargate: what do american think about french? coz i heard some didn't like us... and i also heard that RDA said that france was an under developped country....

well, i don't have a problem with france, never been there.
if you want underdeveloped, try driving across wyoming. 200 miles between highway exits cause there's nothing there but sagebrush and antelope.

anyway, i sorta wonder if sam married joe, well probably cause he was nice and charming and ...tick, tock, her biological clock was ticking and she realized if she didn't start a family soon she wouldn't be able too.
and i also think it had something to do with the sgc being exposed and most of the armed forces being decommissioned...she was probably cut loose, had nothing else to do, he asked and she thought to make a grab for happiness while she could.

i think jack would run away. more out of disgust than anything else. from what i understand he'd been against the aschen from the beginning and no one would listen to him...after a while he'd just get so frustrated he'd say to heck with it and leave.

and, well me persoanlly, i just watched absolute power, and without spoiling it here, isn't aldwin the dishiest tokra around?

The French...I always say anyone who has as many political parties as they do cheeses has got to be good! African-Americans in France always were treated better than the US did at certain times. And I think of Josephine Baker, Lena Horn, Earth Kitt, Louis Armstrong just to name some that you might have heard of. Most of the French people I have met here have been kind and considerate and interested as well as interesting. People are people, good and bad intermixed, so until I know differently I'll stick to my opinion... Good people, good cheese, interesting politics,
good music some very nice champagne, fascinating history and prehistory!

Back to the subject of 2010, I still think this was the way the writers could get in different character reactions. But I bet Jack didn't get really disgusted until the Achen offed Hammond... both seem to have deep suspicions of them that proved correct. But only one was listened to in high places and killed for that.

hey you forgot wine!! my mom was born n that region (alsace) where they produce the best wines and chanpagne in the world (that's the place the germans took from us from 1870 to 1918)

i still think that jack wouldn't leave without "cleaning the air" with everyone, i can't imagine the regrets he must have.
and yeah i think that sam married joe because he was the only guy available, the only who hadn't a "commanding officer : don't touch" sign on his face.. and she must have thought about her biological clock too i agree with it.

Stillzen,

I know very little about the Alcase/Lorraine region of France except the Germans snatched it from the French because of the great natural resources in that area, Joan of Arc was born there and your mother was born there.

Eventually you will become an advanced member by posting and before that you will get your alien baby and you can peek into the alien thread in General Discussion Section and hopefully join in there.

Jack and Sam wrestled in Season 1 in Broca's Divide in the shower. And will have a little tussle in "The Light" season 4.

In 2010 the did it with words. I think Jack's position was so against the lets love the aliens ~ the Achen are great attitude that he and the rest of the team split over it. I really think it was nasty to Kinsey to use "Jacks' Preliminary Report's words" against him when Kinsey was congratulatingthe team about the Achen/Earth alliance. I still think Hammond and Jack were not happy with the government stand on the treaty with the Achen and that Hammond was quieter but that didn't save him at all. Jack's real stand was covered up. And the government kept covering it us...RE: Kinsey's statement. So, of course, Jack had a lot to be unhappy about!

Soooo stillzen got an infatuation with Martouf (and sam) huh? Well i hope they bring him back (but somehow i doubt it due to the fact that they had that aldwyn guy in Absolute power)

It'd be good to see sam lay a couple of hard ones on Jack just to be different. but being a huuuuuuge sam and jack fan anything between sam and another man is against me (2010 is going to be aired on Tuesday and due to the fact that sam ain't with jack i'll probably be cringing the entire episode)

errrrr....
first i'm veeeeeery glad that in season 4 sam finally gets a chance to wind jack off, or disappoint him (emotionally )
because in season 3 jack was a real bastard with her, and he really goes too far in a hundred days. the fact that he's gotten a girl isn't the real problem, no the thing that pissed me off is that sam has worked her ass off for more than 3 months only to get her CO back, but in the end the guy doesn't want to come home, he just turns away without any words of gratitude or even a simple acknoledgment,he doesn't wanna know what she did for him and that's not kind, that's not kind at all, if i had been her i would have punched him hard and basically told him :"you don't wanna go home that's fine stay on your damn planet but don't expect me to save your ass again" and i would have punched him again, turned away and let him here like an imbecile, oh and i would have punched laira too, i just don't like her face.
all that to say that in season 4 jack is the one showing emotions and occasionally "begging" with her (the curse),
and sam is the one who turns her back to him, and i'm sure she must have hurt him a little, and even a lot...and i'm glad about it, why would he be the one winding the other off?? i mean that slap he took in the curse when sam says she'd rather work during all her vacation that going fishing with him!! that's a classic!!! ahah
that's it that's how i really feel, i think the situations are reversed and that's fine by me...
