i like what the whole buffy/spike thing has done in the way of spike's character development. personally i think it's really added a deeper level to what was once simple doom-loving vampire. i think spike is a much better character now.

Yeah well I don't know... I liked him better before as a "ready to kick butt" sorta guy now he's all "I'm just here for the ell of it and cuz I Have feelins for Buffy..."

where else would he go? i mean with the chip in his head he can't exactly protect himself that well. and besides, as a vampire it has to be kind of embarrassing that he can't kill anyone to drink them. and he can't exactly go back to dru now can he?

well, all i'm saying is that a duplicate of any of the characters from either show would be too much. could you imagine if they added another slayer and she was just like buffy. there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. or could you imagine spike being like angel, but not the good angel. the grouchy constantly pissed off angel. yuck!
