I recently saw a small SG-1 article in Wednesday 15th's Advertiser (South Aussie)
it read------

Star Struck Return
Stargate SG-1,
8:30pm, SAS 7

Former MacGyver star Ricahrd Dean Anderson is back in the return series of this Sci-Fi drama, based on the 1994 hit movie of the same name.
Anderson plays brooding Colonel Jack O'Neill, the head os his planet-hopping crew, which includes astrophysicist Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping). This time the team must contend with alien invasion.

A longside was a picture of SG-1.
This article was taken out of the 7-Days liftout (contains TV guide) and Stargate was Thursday's 'pick of the day'

Talking

well over at gater forums (http://www.gaters.net) in the aussie section someone put up a review of stargate in the sydney telegraph i think, and it was a pretty poor review.
In Tasmania (where i live) "The Advocate" newspapers 7 day tv guide has 3 picks of the week, and stargate was 1 of the 3 picks! they put quite a very positive series overview in there! SG-1 is coming back!

One of my jobs as a Web Designer for Rural Press, is uploading the stories for the Canberra Times Web site. Once a week we take the 'TV Picks' for the site.

Unfortunately SG-1 has never been the pick of the week. But knowing me, any SG-1 reviews usually make it onto the site.

The biggest problem I see, is the guy who reviews for the Canberra Times is plainly and simply and idiot who wouldn't know good television if it ran over him.

But then to me suprise..... They actually did a favorable review for Window of opportunity. What a shock that was...... HOLD ON... It was a different Reviewer.
