Isnt it great when Stars raise money for charity..

Signed script for "Timeless" raises $1,200

The 1st annual Jeri Lynn Ryan charity auction has finished raising an estimated $12,015 for Jeri Ryan`s two designated charities, St. Jude Children`s Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.

The highest priced item for most of the duration of the auction was for a script of "Timeless" signed by the Voyager cast, Brannon Braga and director Levar Burton which in the end went for $1,200. Two eye pieces worn by Jeri Ryan during filming shot up in some late bidding, raising $1,222 and $1,200 each. And a prosthetic worn by Jeri on her hand collected $910.

You know what's really neat about stuff like this is the fact that the stars do these sorts of things. (Yeah, that made sense. )

What I think I mean is that it's nice that the stars recognize what they can get their fans to do to help charity organizations. People who wouldn't ordinarily donate a buck on their own suddenly spend hundreds, even thousands of $$$ for a piece of memorabilia.

Way to go Jeri.

Cheers,
