While TV stations in Australia are slow to pick up on Andromeda, it seems one brave and Brilliant ALL Aussie Magazine is not.
"Frontier" Magazine is an Australian produced Sci Fi Mag and this month features a large Article on Andromeda.

If you havn't seen it in your local newsagents you can order it on line and even order back issues.

When it the expect release for andromeda going to be in aus? is there a definite start date?

Unfortunately I am skeptical about the information. I have personally spoken to the programming departments of all three of the major Australian TV stations and they had not even heard of Andromeda before....

Well they have now so maybe there is chance we may get it but 'when'? your guess is as good as mine but I will post it here in fact you should be able to hear me screaming Padders so stay tuned ....LOL

i will see if there is a way for me to copy tapes so i can send them to you. should be possible somehow and we are both on pal. Once you watched them you could pass them round to the other australians here.

have to wait till christmas though when i get home.

Padders thats a lovely thought and thank you, you're a sweety, but I am way ahead of you.
I already have a source of tapes coming to me from the states and have set up a network re: Australian Andromedians on e-groups in which I send out copies to other aussie fans and we have all seen the first 4 episodes just waiting on the next two which are due anyday now.

Because of the normal postal delays we will always be around a month behind in episodes but hey a small price to pay for being able to watch our favorite show.

Still it would be nice to have the show on local TV. Tape quality isnt the best when its been copied numerous times but it is better than nothing.

Stripe is far more clever than any TV programmer could ever be. SHE know's a great show when she see's it. LOL
