Ok, so the Max and Isabel thing is a little much. But I really gotta go with sassyg on the whole Sean and Liz thing, that really bugs. Unfortunately Liz still isn't straight up with Max, and even if she was... I dunno. It's just too bad it's Max and not Zan. Zan wouldn't care if she had slept with Kyle, he'd probably just have Rath kill him, and he'd do Sean the same way. Then you have Zan and Liz - happily ever after. joosh h hey wait! Here is another question.... Ava said that she always knew that Zan didn't really love her, and that he was sorta "destined" for someone else. We know that Max and Liz have this super intense connection beyond normal stuff and you assume that Zan would have fallen head over heals for Liz too, that she was the one that he was looking for. So then you wonder, what is that? Obviously the alien side of Max/Zan is destined for Ava/Tess, so is it the human side of Max/Zan that's all about Liz? And then you have to wonder, ok if Micheal/Rath was tied to that girl's grandfather, him being sortof like the human host DNA, who was the human Max/Zan was patterned after, and why would they be all about Liz?

Hey jooshh, great idea about Zan ordering Rath as a hitman to those who touch Liz, which isn't a bad idea. But you've got admit that Michael as a New Yorker was a little overboard with the huge hair . . . And him kissing Isabel "Lanny" . . . That was gross But as for the destiny thing, I think that Max/Zan was destined to be with Tess/Ava, BUT destiny sucks, who ever follows that? It's FATE that Max and Liz met . . . and fate is uncontrollable . . . I guess that's what I believe, plus on the more lighter note, Tess/Ava look great and get along really great with Kyle. And it is all about fate fate fate, or it could be something sporadic . . . Kind of like Michael's DNA patron, maybe he was related to Grandpa 1935 because their personalities were similar as those from his original planet's, or it could've been sort of out of random, but I doubt it. As for Max's patron DNA, I probably think it was a guy with the same personality as him

About the whole DNA thing!!! I understand that they need "host" DNA or whatever, but it pretty much completely confuses me!!! Anyway, I don't think that it will be a major part in another episode!!! What really interests me is when Ava said that Max "changed" Liz!!! I think that I get it but I'm not sure!!! And the whole thing about Raff killing anyone who goes near Liz, I definetly like that!!! Now I have a question, see if you can answer!!! It's about the Las Vegas episode!!! First I have to say that I love that Max and Liz danced together!!! But, you know when they all run into the room and see the Sheriff??? Did anyone notice that Max and Liz were holding hands??? What do you think that means??? Do you think that they're getting together in the next episode, or soon??? Did anyone see the last episode, the one after the Las Vegas one??? ![]()

As far as Liz being "changed", she picked up a little alien DNA or something when Max healed her. The same of course goes for Kyle who was also healed by Max, and so you could also assume all the kids in the cancer ward from the Christmas episode. As far as Rath and Lonnie making out, that was the highlight of the season for me (ok, small exageration). I thought they were the hottest couple on the show. Alien Bonnie and Clyde, Earth watch out! And then back to the Liz and Max in Vegas... they're such a cute couple and I was so stoked to see them dancing but I totally missed that they were holding hands. That is the freakin bomb. They are so comfortable and so right together, they so belong together that they are totally just falling back into it. You could see it in their eyes when they were dancing.... Ok we know from future Max that he would give up his kingdom for love - the question is, when Liz tells him the true price of his decision... what do you do? If he knows it's going to cost him not only his homeworld, and Earth, but also Michael's, Isabel's and Tess' lives... you have to save your family... but how do you really say "no" to absolute true love? joosh h

The whole choosing between your family and your true love is hard, I agree!!! But how come it's soooo awful for the two of them to be together??? I don't get how it's ok for Maria and Michael to be together, and it's so obvious that Isabelle and Alex and Tess and Kyle are gonna get together, but Max can't be with Liz!!! I mean aren't they the royal FOUR???How come the other three can be with someone diferent, a human??? It doesn't make sense to me!!! Can someone explain this to me??? ![]()

The trouble with being Tess Ok, the problem is that in the alternate future, the one that theoretically won't happen now that Max thinks Liz slept with Kyle, Max and Liz's relationship ended up forcing Tess out of the group. Now Isabel isn't going to get all mad about Michael being with Maria, and Michael isn't going to get mad about Isabel being with Alex. Thats the difference. No one is going to leave the group if Mike gets with Maria. Growing up Tess was indoctrinated by Nasedo in her "desiny" of being paired with Max. For Max, Mike and Isabel, it's all kinda weird, but for her, thats the way it has to be. Also, Future Max said it had to do with how badly he treated Tess after he married Liz. Interesting side note, when Rath and Lonnie killed Zan, Ava immediately seperated herself from the group. So... maybe you stumbled onto the "out" for Max. Maybe if the relationship between Tess and Kyle can mature she won't be as hung up on Max, and so the Max and Liz thing won't tear up the group. The only question is, if thats all it takes, then why wouldn't Tess and Kyle have gotten together anyway, been happily ever after, and future Max wouldn't have come back? Future Max told Liz that when they got married the party was him and her, Maria, Alex, Isabel and Michael - no Kyle and Tess. That means Kyle was out of the group too. joosh h

Okay, I haven't been on in a while, so I might have missed a few discussions, but I luckily caught up. First off, that was the first thing I noticed in the Las Vegas episode, was Max and Liz holding each others hands!!! I could've cried with joy, and in the Christmas episode they did hold hands at the end too! As for the whole future thing, here is my theory: Okay the world ends, or has a major issue because Tess left. And that's why Future Max came back, and so on . . . But the thing is, it's now anything goes ... What I think is that maybe all Liz has to do is talk to Tess, I couldn't stretch that issue more. Tess seems like an understanding person. Plus if she wasn't neglected, then she wouldn't have left the group, right? So Liz tells Tess about the future and her deep, deep, deep love for Max, and his deep, deep, deep, love for Liz. Right?

Future Max and Liz Ok, here is the way I see it. Tess is gonna get hers from Kile, and Max and Liz live happily ever after. They can be all still holding hands even when Max wears funky clothes has long hair. Future Max dissappeared 'cause the future had changed. So we would assume that when Liz finally does tell Max, if that ended the world again, a new different future Max would come back and try to stop them in a different way (knowing that the other way didn't work). And you're totally right, it wasn't that Tess and Max weren't together that ended the world, it was Tess leaving the group, so if Max and Liz and Tess are all in the loop about the world ending thing, Tess could probably deal. Besides, her and Kile are a hot couple. joosh "rath" h

Max and Liz Hello, I am a new member! When I first watched Roswell, I thought what is this, nothing ever happens!! Yet I loved the romance with Max and Liz! I couldn't wait for next series, which is now on the UK, where I live. I was so upset with the episode where they break up, he comes from the future. The whole point of the series is MAx and Liz,relationships ect... Look we want them together!!! Also I have to say if WB are aiming for older audience and trying to cut out the romance! I am 30 with two young babies and watch it, so we are not all teens!!

Oh I think its totally a guy show! It's a bunch of amazingly beautiful and hot girls, and a bunch of guys who are totally inept. It's like a fantasy! An entire town where none of the guys can figure out how to bust a move! Then you've got every kind of girl you could want: the classic girl next door, the sassy firecracker, the perfect 10 blonde. I mean seriously look at it. You had the entire first season of Liz begging Max to bust a move and Maria always trying to get Michael to hook up with her again. People talk about Gilligans Island being the perfect male fantasy? As far as it being a romantic show, it totally is. But I'm a romantic guy so I dig that. joosh h

Arr! so it does work out, soulmates and all that! Thats why they are made for each other!! Max has those puppydog eyes, feel sorry for me look! Actually I watched it tonight and thought they still loved each other! But whats with those skins people!! It reminded me of the bodysnatchers!! Also I couldn't understand why Tess and Isabel don't have powers like Max and Mike? Are they making a third series? |

Tess and Isabell totally have powers. Ok sure most of the time they stick to the more cerebral powers like illusion and dreamwalking, but they all have the power to do basic stuff like melting things and moving things (like opening locks). But don't think they can't kick ass like the boys - Tess's fireball against the skins was way more powerful than any blast Michael ever threw. One of my numerous favorite quotes from Eppy #209 "Max in the City" Nicholas: "Max, nice to see your genocidal girlfriend again. Killed anyone today?" Tess: "Days not over." Nicholas: "What a charmer." joosh "rath" h

Oh so they have powers!! I did see Isabel use them once, but we've yet to see the episodes of their wow pow powers!! We're a bit behind in the episodes here in blighty! Actually we normally get things here when you've axed them in the US. Sometimes they axe the good ones and keep Murder she Wrote going for a hundred years!!!! Yet the best Sci-Fi series comes from the US , Roswell to name just one of course! Hope they don't axe Roswell, my Wednesday nights won't be the same.
