On first listen, I liked the album. It's a bit of an odd mix of stuff - there's some QOTSA-esque bits, one song (Treat Me Like Your Mother) that wouldn't sound too out of place on a Prodigy album, and a whole lot of grungy blues-rock. It certainly isn't a "Jack White" album, which is what I'd been led to believe. His influence is obviously there, but it's nowhere near as prominent as in, say, The Raconteurs.
