If you have any feedback good or bad from any convention, lets have a talk about it here.

Oh man, are you sure you want to go into that? Just look at any con put on by Creation and don't do what they do.

Cheers,

Talking Feedback

There are always glitches and things that run just a bit out of wack at a 'first con'. I'd have to say, thought, that things went remarkably well throughout the entire event and those few things that didn't go quite as planned are already being addresses for next year.

And I'm looking forward to next year ... even if I haven't totally recovered from 'this' yuear. :}

Talking gatecon reply

I just wanted to say what a wonderful time I did have. I enjoyed myself so much that I have convinced a friend of mine to go next year with me. It was the best 5 days I spent away from the hospital I work at in my life (however short some think that is). You all did an EXCELLENT job. Towards the end you could tell some were getting tired. But still you were WONDERFUL.

Thank you very much for the memories

Thumbs up GateCon - to Lexxy4me

Hey ... any respite that can be given to a fellow health care provider is a *good thing* [tm]. After 30 years of it myself in various fields, I *know* how much a time out can mean.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. :}

Wow, i don't know if i can sum up how much of a good time i had in a single email post, lol!! Everyone was sooo nice, and i just had an amazing time!! I met a bunch of great friends there, friendships that will last a long time. The guests were all so wonderful, and from what I heard they had about as much fun as we did All the organization and work that went into putting it all together really showed! I want to send out a big thank you to everyone that helped out and organized this great event, especially the big four, Allan i got a chance to work w/ you for a little while during the first talk on Sat.,i was one of the Mike Runners, Fryn i did get a chance to say hi i think at one point Sue I met as well while volunteering at the table selling photos, and Richard, who helped me out alot when i was getting my ticket in the first place and i had the pleasure of meeting and talking to on Sunday night, you guys are the best! I had an absolute BLAST and can't wait till next year!!

Talking Aussie Experience

Well what can I say except...."Damn what a Rush"

I have to admit that yes there were glitches that happened, but for 4 people such as yourselves, living in totally different corners of the world, and coming together for the first time to put on a convention like that... it is just such an achievement, it really is. You all did a fantastic job Fryn, Richard, Allan and Sue that I will be saving up again to go next year. (and hopefully more after that).

Congrats... you made me one very happy little Vegemite :Þ

Cool

It has been getting very quiet lately, and Rowan does run herself ragged answering absolutely everywhere possible.

But just remember, we are still here and always monitoring the forums.

And Rowan is right, there is nothing more satisfying than talking about the jobs we love doing. So come on... get us talking.

Wink Thanks!

Thanks for being worried about me, Gatecon. It's okay, I don't have a life... courtisy of the US Army, I'm on 'the dole'. You're the one working his outback tush off. :}

But you're most right. As the months progress and we closer to the con, this is the time to start letting us know about things that we need to check out and work on.

Times moving!
