I knew that name was familiar, but dummy me it took someone else to mention it to me before it clicked. Check out Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. There is an individual there who is a spiritualist, sociologist, flesh eating, procreating Magog. The Magog like nothing better than to eat people and have decimated hundreds of worlds ... in fact, a peace treaty with this species is what causes the downfall of the Commonwealth and leads to the premise of the show. But there's one Magog who has managed to curb his impulses and has now been recruited by Captain Dylan Hunt to be a member of his crew as he goes off to try and bring the wonders of the Commonwealth back to the universe. That Magog is Brent Stait ... good ole' Major Ferretti. ![]() ![]() Cheers, [Edited by MythingLink on 10-15-2000 at 02:09 PM]

Does the Pentagon know about this? What about his freiends at the SGC? Thanks for the picture MythingLink! I mentioned that he played Rev Bem in the Other Humans section of the Forum. Glad you in Andromeda cross-fertilize! He sure looks different than in the Ferretti days!

You won't recognize the voice either ... he's changed it. It's what apparently helped get him the part. I'm really happy for him because I love him as Ferretti and I'm always hoping these guys get to do more of what they love to do. Cheers,

How can he have a day job? He probably has to sit in make-up all day just for one or two shots. Skydiver, you are getting as bad as coffeecup and I over the T-Man! Ken Sorbo without a shirt! Oh, did you see the picture of him somewhere in the Andromeda forum having some liguid poured over his chest!

Well according to an interview that was posted at talkAndromeda, it's a three hour makeup job. However he's pretty pleased with it because it's flexible enough that he can accomplish some pretty good facial expressions. He also asked that he not have to wear contacts so that he could let his 'eyes' do a lot of the talking for him. ![]() Cheers,

Gosh! That is a long time for makeup! but it is better than some I have heard about. Glad he doesn't wear contacts as unless they are easy to wear can really distract from the whole facial language thing! He has an expressive face and eyes.
