Have you read more Paul Kearney yet ?
I have read 3 books of him in short space of time. Its a shame he doesnt seem to be read much,talked about much in these forums. Not because i care other similar fantasy authors are more popular in the forums.
But because i know many here who would like the quality he brings to epic/historical/military fantasy.
I think im lucky to have tried him cause he has shown to you can write epic fantasy with quality without having to be the usual High fantasy with political intrigue.
He is not as fast paced as heroic fantasy the authors i usually read. Which makes it a plus to get something similar but different too.
Only reason i havent got The Ten Thousand yet is because i have spent alot money on his books last month. Not fair against my other favorite authors who are in the book haul list for this month
