What does everyone think about Major Davis? He is growing on me. I think he is a cutie, and he has a sweetness and sensitivity to him...like Daniel.

Well i have hardly seen any of him yet, perhaps more 2morrow as it is stargate day. But yeah, i liked him in small victories. Nice they are introducing new minor characters.

When Davis was intro'd in Into the Fire, I wasn't real impressed. However he's really starting to grow on me as a character to watch for. I was really impressed with him in Small Victories - the hesitation at firing the torpedo and the hand on Daniel's shoulder at the end when everything turned out okay with Jack and Teal'c. For someone who started out by getting chewed out by Hammond for basically not seeming to care that SG-1 was missing in Into the Fire to becoming someone who really shows that caring now, it's been a fun thing to watch.

Cheers,

was it him who said something about "that is all i do in my spare time.. reading up on sg-1 missions"? if so, it shows that he is interested in the program and what it does unlike someone like mayborne who just sees it as a) a war and b) a way of getting technology.

I think it was him. In "Tangent" he certainly seemed to be an integral part of the SGC, as well as have a lot of emotion invested in the job and the personnel.

Yes, padders, that was Major Davis. Hammond didn't chew out Davis in "Into the Fire". He just treated him as a messenger who's message he did not want to hear. The OM reserves his heat for the real culprit... and Davis wasn't it.

Is he in Foothold? The one when Jack awakens from the Goo-ey stuff? IS that Davies that awakes with him?

Yeppers that was Major Davis. He said he was called to the SGC by Hammond, IIRC.

Cheers,

Wink

Hey skydiver,

You said that Major Davis would be a more appropriate mate for Major Carter!(rather than Jack, Narim or Martouf) What about a fic to scare the S/J shippers with! Just kidding! But it might be fun for someone to try.

Major Davis poured a drink for Samantha Carter and handed it to her. "She looks lovely in the light from the Naquada Reactor she built" he thought.

"So,Major" He said as she looked up from the technical schematics for the Stargate, "Tell me about your last mission....."

I didn't have a story in mind...just the opening lines....if I tried to finish it I would do one of two things 1)show how bad a writer I am and/or 2)end up making Padders have to limit subscribers to 21 and older

SGPflughaupt,

I opt for the second. Love to see the story and make padders put it in the moderator area! But it has to be more than just mindless sex.

A "restricted" area is planned one day for the forums for this stuff. But at 21 i wouldn't be allowed in it. (the age is 18 anyway in the uk).
