Any way you want. I just say "eks-stee" myself. If you check my profile, I list cross-stitching as my hobby. It's a form of needlework. So I try to use variations of "cross-stitch" for my login names. "x" stands for "cross" or a symbol of a stitch or the placement of a stitch and "st" stands for "stitch", and.... TA-DUM!!! xst was born.

And I'm a Stargate fan, too! I usually hang out in gaters.net and the betasite and Gateguide. But I'm starting check this place out. See you!

I'm cool, mingo! Call me what you will! I answer to "Hey you", too! Isn't/wasn't there a metal or rock band who called themself "xtc" or "ecstacy"??? You must be thinking of that!

By the way, you were right, Track 5 (Egyptology/Sha're/Aliens) of the Stargate SG-1 soundtrack is wonderful! Everytime I play it, I can "see" Daniel and Sha're in that wonderful scene inside the pyramid on Abydos (from COTG). I've got the whole album copied on my hard drive and play the music when I use my computer!!!!! It's hard drive space well spent!

ok stargate is filmed in british columbia (BC) and the set is in vancover as 4 question #2 i can't help but if you ever wanna know any thing more don'[t bother to asl or even just to go to the official web sit. (it's pretty good but ya can't do anything cool like over here)

Hi!

Stargate is filmed and produced at Bridge Studios in Burnaby, B.C., which is a suburb/neighbour city to Vancouver. The outdoor location filming is done in the nearby Seymour Mountain, Richmond (the sand pit-like scenes), public parks, downtown Vancouver, Vancouver buildings, the beach (eg Fire and Water in Season 1).

Peter Williams is originally from Jamaica. At Gatecon he affected a Jamaican accent. But he is part of the Vancouver and Canadian pool of actors. He has appeared in other shows filmed in Vancouver and Canada.

No alex the gate has not shut down in montreal they just have other junk on right now

the only way i 'm getting trought this is watching old episodes that i have taped thinking about stargate & comin' here or other gate sites and working on mine which at the moment is REALLY sad (only one page)

That is horrible! No Stargate for a while. Well, we have things to visit here for you. At the top of the screen is all the other Fora you can visit besides Stargate! We even have a book section of those of us who indulge in the visual pleasure of books. At the bottom is the sections in our Stargate forum you can pull down.

Make your self comfortable, relax and post. If you don't see a thread that you want you can make a new one and someone will answer. So relax and enjoy, browse and post!

I'm in Vancouver now, working on the show, but I grew up in Montreal. The West Island to be exact. Beaconsfield to be even more exact. I now own a house in Kirkland (which doesn't do me much good as I rarely get to see it now).

Nice to see there are Canadian fans of the show out there.

How do you like the Vancouver life now? (as opposed to Montreal). Does this mean you know French as well? Also, how did a guy from a small town like Beaconsfield get to be one of the writers in a show like Stargate? You rarely see that happen these days. Enjoy your job! I know I would!
