***supposedly*** there is a rational, scientific explanation behind everything that has happened so far. The writers/producers (if we can trust them) have stated in interviews that nothing we have seen is a dream, supernatural, related to time travel etc..
Now, given JJ Abrams grasp of science, a "scientific explanation" may push the bounderies of what is actually possible, but I think he's assuring us there arent any "ghosts" or aliens. |
They've also said that there are no dinosaurs and that the island security system isn't nano-machines.
However, keep in mind that they did say Artz (the guy who got blown up in the last episode) was going to be a major new character in series two. So they are not to be completely trusted
