I'm thinking the giant might represent Bravos. Their sigil is the Titan which could be confused for the giant by Bran who is very young. In the Arya sample chapter that was on GRRM's site Arya passes under the Titan and notices that it is really hollow and filled with men. Also Arya's role will seem to bring her into a very high circle in Bravos, the coin and the words alone got her the captains cabin and free passage to Bravos. If she were to rise up very high in her order she may even command some of the strength of Bravos and use it to either avenge her family or help Dany conquer Westeros. |
