Apologies again for the delay in chronicles getting back online - the recent forum bugs unfortunately were part of a major crash that was running through the database, and has completely wiped out all 1.2 million forum posts.

However, there are backups available and I'm now working with the datacentre staff to get the most recent backup of the forums from the datacenter backup system uploaded to the site, so hopefully once that's done the forums will be back online.

We're likely to see some data loss, but I'm hopefully that it will be minimal - a few days, or a week's worth, at most. In a worst case scenario, I have a backup on my harddrive from 2 months ago, but I'm not expecting it to come to that.

In the meantime, hopefully the datacenter staff will get the site forums up sooner rather than later.
