Sean3w Lots of action. Shows us that Teal'c is human despite the fact of carrying a worm in his belly. Let's us see more into the friendship of O'Neill and Teal'c and more into the knowledge of Daniel and Sam. I give it a 9 out of 10. ---------- Come visit http://www.sg2070.com

MythingLink Another episode with great acting by RDA and since it was written by Michael Greenburg I can just see him sitting there over his keyboard giggling at all the 'hurt' he's going to do to his friend and partner. <G> It also had one of my favorite people in it. Lt. Graham Simmons. There are some who believe he succumbed, and that's whey we haven't seen him since then. I don't think he did though. I'm hoping he didn't. Another episode that shows that no matter how important each character is to the SGC, what matters in the long run is the the safety and well being of the whole and where some priorities should lay. Loud round of applause to Carter and Hammond for realizing this. Cheers, ---------- MythingLink The Woolfden: http://www.woolfden.net

| MythingLink The world that SG-1 was going to go visit after bringing this 'bottle' home was primordial, just what these characters needed. They sent it through the Stargate to there as soon as they hauled all their little luminous selves back into the container and let Jack go from the wall. | SGPflughaupt If I recall this was the first ep I got to see of the series. I thought I was neat that they didnt always go to world with atmospheres and it in a way really for me gave strength to the impression of the Stargates as an VERY ancient technology. I mean that when the gate was placed there the world was alive but by the time the SG team arrived the world had been dead for along time. |

MythingLink Good point. What did they say when they carbon dated the Stargate - 10,000 years, but the coverstone was 5,000? Wasn't 10,000 years ago the dawning of the age of man? Or have I remembered wrong? Cheers, ---------- MythingLink The Woolfden: http://www.woolfden.net

padders 10,000 years.. depends what you call dawning age really. I think that is probably the start of the stone age and the use of fire if i remember correctly. ---------- Chris Padfield, administrator for TalkStargate.com http://www.talkstargate.com/ - Talk Stargate till your heart's content!

Neanderthals used fire over 200,000 B.P. Ten thousand is about the time farming got its start as well as city building in the Middle East began (Catal Huyuk, Jericho, Mesopotamia etc.) and was well under way in India and the Orient. I liked this episode as most of the SGC people were in it. Graham Simmons survived. But he has not made an appearance in season 3 or 4.

I loved this episode. I especially enjoyed the emotinal scenes between Jack and Teal'c. I thought Richard Dean Anderson was exceptional in portraying his physical and emotional agony.
