People have a tendancy to believe what they want to believe and no amount of proof to the contrary is going to change their minds. What would you do if you were suddenly confronted with someone saying that your basic philosophy, which you and generations of your ancestors have believed, was wrong? Anger, denial, and fear would all run the gamut though your mind; especially to people who have basically been fighting in a religious war for generations. Cheers,

Jack's response to that question would have been funny.... and unprintable! Here's a thought. Those staff thingys that the Bedrosians carried were similar to Goauld Staff weapons, so maybe the tech was similar enough that he figured it out. It's probably point-and-shoot tech.

a zat has a kind of a trigger right? adn the bedrosian weapons had triggers so it would have been a logical conclusion that it was a weapon...or maybe riegar zatted one of his own men? here's a thought, carter made it back with one of their guns, that means she managed to get away with alien tech...which just might make up for the gdo's, grenades, rifles, pistols etc that they left behind...didn't see jack zatting them in to non-esistance to keep the bedrosians away from them. guess it was a weapons exchange ![]()

I just saw this ep for the first time and i really liked it. Nyan (sp?) was great, too bad we don't see him in future eps (we haven't, right? please tell me i'm wrong). CJ did a good job--as usual--with Teal'c and his, er, injury. thought this ep showed the whole debate of God and creation vs. well, in this case, alien and, er, aliens, in an interesting way. similar to a real life debate, no? anyhow, gotta go, but i really want more Nyan! whine, whine, whine oh, and to the whole weapon exchange bit, it be nice for the sgc to get more weapons that merely stun. not always nice to kill the natives.

another missing character This is one of the other characters that they set up for a return, that as of yet hasn't. You would think that we would have by now, as Daniel said he would be helping translate stuff, I would think he would be living in the SGC sort of like Teal'c, but I guess they could have him sent to Area 51 too I guess...
