Oh Stargate and Spelling Pain in the Nic'da or What!
Yes I think the name change would be good!

All aliens it is then, from Asgard to Rhy'tu or... Padderised "Askard to Rietoo" :-)

Of course now I have to take the mickey out of myself... I just watched the episode with the Reetou in it. Used the DVD and put on captions... You then see all the correct spelling. Reetou is spelt Reetou however Simonised it' Rhy'tu, D'OH!!! :-)

Yea well I had always thought it spelled Rhi'tu. I mean, it makes sense that it would be spelled that way. The creators like to put hyphens in everywhere.

I don't think anyone knows how to spell these things. TVs are going to go with what it sounds like and even if you look at the official SG1 site, that particular race of beings is spelled a couple of different ways.
Cheer,

I'm just going with Rhi'tu. It looks more into the keeping with the rest of the stuff they're doing.
Cheers,

Of course this is now a difinative method of spell checking the various names with the advent of that DVD technology, you can turn ON subtitles, et Voila... That's how I figured out Reetou...
So those of us lucky enough to have DVD players can help those who don't... Maby spelling section for those of us who know that "Lyxdexsia Rules KO!"
