Ok, want an easyish way to get free dvds, read on.
Basically, there is a newish UK site. They are competing with Amazon.co.uk and doing a pretty good job of it. One problem they have found is that people like Amazon.com's reviews so they have decided to try and get some themselves. Because they are smaller this is harder so what they do is pay you to write them.

The good news is they give you quite a lot. They pay you £1 (in credit at the store) which is the same as $1.50. They will also ship to the US.

If anyone is interested, please email me and I will invite you to join. If you do this I get a further £5 in credit, i would really appreciate it. Just reply to this post and I will send you an invite, then when you order your first DVD (free if you do enough reviews) then i get some money off.

Chris.

Yes I think so. If the p&p is rediculous then we can arrange it that you have them shipped to me (that is free) and I can send them on to you.

Add reviews of DVD, music, games to their site - they pay you in credit for each one the add ($1.50 or £1 per review). You can then use this money to get free DVDs or what ever you want. I have saved about $100 doing this. They are getting a little stricter on how good the reviews have to be though.

Free DVD's

Let me have the info, Padders. I'm more than willing to write reviews, having done them before. And as I have a regionless DVD player, working with the folks in the UK is fine for me.

Up 'till now I've dealt with Blackstar, but free never hurts. :}

Yeah I suppose.

I noticed when you signed up here and was wondering if you were ever going to post. Figured you might when you read about the new GateCon forum.

Cheers,

Hi! MUZZA,

Welcome, Muzza,

Padders is off to India and will return about 23 December,the company ships some places put the shipping and handling often cost more than the product. He is willing to handle it for others as they ship free in UK and then you two can work out details of S. & H. if their price for S & H is to high and it doesn't cost you and arm and leg to get it from UK to OZ.

Glad you posted. Sorry that I can not be of more help! But I am sure their will be others who can tell you more about this.

Have you seen much of the forum so far? Look around and have fun. If you don't find what you need, start a new thread in the appropriate section and you will get answers...just no flames please. Enjoy! Kick back and relax and post!

Talking My being here...

MythingLink... if you check, I mod four seperate SG-1 groups here not counting the GateCon questions with Allan, Richard and whoever else has slipped in. Fryn, I think.

If it says 'SG-1' on it anywhere, ya just can't keep me away. :}

Archiver, do you have the info on this or do I need to wait until Padders is back?

Hi Rowan,

Check with MythingLink, but I believe that Padders is the archiver.
