Dragon's Fire

Has anyone read the newest Pern book? I just finished it today, and I absolutely LOVED it! It was really great, and parts of it seem really familiar... I believe this is one of the other stories from another angle... at least in part...

Re: Dragon's Fire

I just finished it last week and really enjoyed it. This one took a whole new view of life on pern and some new looks at its past history. If it is a different view of another story I don't know which one as most of them are set much further in the future of pern.

Re: Dragon's Fire

It almost seems like another view of Dragon's Kin... at least... I'm pretty sure that's the one...

Cool Re: Dragon's Fire

I've loved all of the books written by Anne, I enjoyed the first one introducing Todd. But this one is driving me bonkers. It reads very choppy to me. Some of the names are so close I'm having a challenge keeping them all straight.

It could just be that I read too fast for my own good and so am accidently skipping. But I feel like it doesn't flow the way all the other books from the past have in my opinion. I start to "get into it" and suddenly it shifts to something not as related as what I just read.

It's a major head's up for me with my own bloody writing...least I do what I dislike! ugg
